I really enjoyed student life and the fellow students I met at INSA

Why did you choose INSA Lyon? Fields of study, laboratories, school reputation, experiencing French life?

I’ve always wanted to do a student exchange in France but I didn’t know where exactly. I wanted to study in France because I love French culture and cuisine. I had to choose a school with which my home university had an agreement. After some research and a consultation with my French teacher, I chose INSA Lyon thanks to its reputation, its training and the city’s renown.

What did you enjoy during your INSA Lyon experience?

I really enjoyed student life and the fellow students I met at INSA. I liked the TANDEM program in particular, because it allowed me to really improve my French. Sport was also very enjoyable since I met many new people. It was an opportunity to learn new things.

What did you enjoy in Lyon?

It’s a very pleasant city with old buildings and an amazing history. I liked public transport a lot because it allowed me to travel in France and Europe very easily.

What advice would you offer to future exchange students?

If I could give a piece of advice, I’d say not to hesitate to seize any opportunity to travel, get to know people and learn new things – because it’s your chance to get better.
